The Transformers toy H-2EX JAZZ, produced by NEWAGE, is a small – scale toy based on the 1976 Porsche 935 racing car. Here is a detailed introduction to this toy:

Packaging Design

  • Front: It features a showcase – style design. The window position corresponds exactly to the position of Jazz in the inner packaging, allowing you to directly see the vehicle mode of the toy. The Jazz shape on the packaging is quite in line with the G1 style.
  • Back: There is an equipment – preparation scene or a family – photo on it, along with some small previews.
  • Inside: It comes with a blister – type packaging. The standard accessories include a photon gun and a megaphone, and there is also an instruction manual.

Vehicle Mode

  • Appearance: The body has a white base color, with the unique dark blue, light blue, and red stripes of Martini on it. The car windows are restored with transparent parts, and the wheels are in gold color. The side view has a high degree of restoration, and the words on the spoiler are clearly visible. Due to the racing rules, the headlights are set very low, but it doesn’t differ much from previous models. The number 4 is because the No. 4 racing car was once driven by the famous racing driver Jacky Ickx, winning double championships in the Group 5 season and the Le Mans 24 – Hour Race in 1976.
  • Details: The air intakes and headlights at the front of the car have corresponding paint jobs. The use of metallic paint adds a lot of texture. There are handle details on the car doors, and the joint seams are controlled to a very small range. The wheels can rotate. At the rear of the car, the air intakes are painted silver. The megaphone can be mounted here, and the photon gun can be stored under the car. All the connections are relatively compact.

Robot Mode

  • Appearance: The body proportion is quite harmonious, and the shape design refers to G1 Jazz. The face has detailed depictions, and the goggles are also faithfully restored. Due to the small scale, there may seem to be some graininess in the pictures. The engine details are hidden under the front of the vehicle mode and are restored as chest details after transformation, which becomes a highlight. There is a pair of megaphones on the shoulders that can be held by hands, and the insertion and extraction tightness is moderate. The back is the roof of the vehicle mode.
  • Mobility: The head can look up, down, turn left and right, and rotate horizontally; the arms can be lifted horizontally, upwards, and bent, and the shoulders can be pulled outwards; the legs can be lifted to the maximum for grounding, kicked forward, backward, and bent, and the waist can rotate horizontally and tilt forward, but cannot tilt backward. Overall, the mobility is quite good, and various simple poses can be posed.

Toy Features

  • High – degree Restoration: Both the appearance painting of the vehicle mode and the shape design of the robot mode have highly restored Jazz in the G1 animation. Especially, the Martini painting and some iconic details are well presented.
  • Clever Design: The transformation process is smooth, and the storage design of some parts is very delicate. For example, the upward pull of the car door on the side of the calf and the storage of the photon gun under the car not only ensure the overall aesthetics of the toy but also increase the fun of playing.
  • Fine Painting: Despite the small scale, the painting still maintains a high standard. The colors are bright and even, and the painting in the details is also in place, improving the overall quality of the toy.
